activeCollab* and QuickBooks

 

activeCollab is a great project planning application. It allows you to keep everything in one place. Quickbooks allows you to invoice your customers and keep all of your accounting in order. But there isn't a way to move the time you've tracked in activeCollab to Quickbooks for easy invoicing of your customers...until now!

Keep Track Of Time With Ease

The Billing Module allows you to keep track of time just as you do with the current activeCollab billing Module, but with a few additional features that will make your life easier.

 

Set Project Budgets

With the Billing Module you can set budgets on a per project basis. This allows you to see exactly how much a project is costing you and how much money is left to spend.

 

Built In Workflow

With the Billing Module you can choose to allow your users to set items as Pending, Billable, or Non Billable. This allows you to easily track all hours, but also categorize them as you go. Pending hours can be reviewed by someone else and then marked differently allowing you to easily allow for review of items that need to be billed.

 

Matching Data

Customers and items are imported from Quickbooks so invoicing customers the correct amounts has never been easier. If you make an update in Quickbooks you can reimport a new list into activeCollab and both systems will match. Customers and inventory items can also be disabled within activeCollab so you don't see extraneous items that will never be billed or customers that aren't active.


Export Time to Quickbooks

The real beauty of the Billing Module is the ease of being able to move time from activeCollab into Quickbooks. With a few simple click you can export all of your time and import it into QuickBooks. The customer, inventory item, and billing description can all be set within activeCollab.

 

Translation Support

The Billing Module has support for ActiveCollab's built in translation support. Any of the words or phrases used in the Billing Module can be changed or converted into other languages if you so desire.
